My passion for accounting is driven by my curiosity and lifelong immersion in the business world. This has given me a thorough understanding of what makes a business thrive. Outside of Acctivate, you’ll often find me on the golf course, immersed in a good book or cheering for the mighty Collingwood Magpies.

Hello! I’m Tyrone Shandiman, one of the Directors at Acctivate. Although I’m not involved in direct customer interactions, I contribute to the team by offering business advisory and strategic guidance.
My professional journey has been primarily within the insurance industry, with a focus on strata insurance. In 2011, I founded Strata Insurance Solutions, where I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients with specialised insurance solutions for residential and commercial properties. In addition to my roles at Strata Insurance Solutions and Acctivate, I’m a Non-Practicing Director at a personal injury law firm and two other insurance broking businesses, offering my insights and experience to guide the firm’s direction.
Outside of my professional endeavours, I’m a foodie with a passion for cooking and entertaining. I’m also an avid traveller who loves exploring new places and experiencing life beyond the workplace. This passion for travel reflects my approach to life—balancing work with personal interests and staying curious about the world around me.
